The electoral roll lists all those people who qualify as voters and are not permanently or temporarily deprived of the right to vote. The electoral roll is the responsibility of the Electoral Roll Office (belonging to the National Statistical Institute) and consists of:
- The electoral roll of Spanish residents in Spain (CER)
- The electoral roll of resident-absentee voters living abroad (CERA)
Since 1996, Babel has been actively involved in the Electoral Roll Management System and in the design and development of its Digital Services, both in permanent procedures and in electoral processes.
Protection of personal data and guarantee of digital rights
Application for exclusion/inclusion in the copies of the electoral roll for postal mailing of electoral propaganda, a procedure that allows citizens to choose whether or not they wish to provide their details to the candidates' representatives for the postal mailing of electoral propaganda, thus reducing environmental impact.
Ballot request from residents abroad
Digital service for presentation of the ballot request by voters registered with CERA (Electoral roll of resident-absentee voters living abroad) for elections.
More prepared than ever, postal ballot application
Digital service for completion of the postal ballot application by voters residing in Spain and the printing of the necessary copies for later submission to a Spanish Post Office. In the last General Elections, it was used by approximately 200,000 voters.
