ING Direct uses a project development model based on collaboration with its providers using technical support. This format had success for some years but with its expansion plans it couldn't provide a solution to its new ambitious business plans. That is why they decided to look for an alternative that would allow them to increase their project execution capacity in order to ensure the success of their business plans without losing quality in their applications.
The solution was an evolution towards a service model based on Outsourcing Developments or Application Management (AM). Under this model, we will distribute responsibilities that will allow both parties to grow (client and provider) supported by a working methodology that will govern the model.
